New locations, new formats, new sports environments and plenty of quick turns in between. Some projects took us across the US, others back to Germany, onto tennis courts or right next to the water. Step by step, June became a month that was anything but flat.
First Steps: On the Road with the DFB
We spent the first part of the month travelling with the DFB Women’s National Team around the World Cup qualifiers for the 2027 World Cup in Brazil. We stayed close to the team, close to the environment and close to the moments that happened around the pitch.
The final result is not ready to be shared yet, but this is definitely one to stay tuned for.
Some Trails You Just Know Well: OneFootball
Some trails you just know well. That is exactly how OneFootball felt for us this month.
The route first took us to Chicago, where we supported content for OneFootball together with Google Pixel around the DFB test match between Germany and the USA. While production was happening on site, we also ran a live feed back to the client in New York. This allowed the team to follow the shoot directly, give feedback and stay close to the set without having to be there in person.
After that, we headed to Los Angeles. Together with KIA and OneFootball, we produced Carpool Karaoke style videos during the World Cup around the USA vs Turkey matchday experience. The setup was mobile, close to the fans and built around staying spontaneous while still delivering a clean production.
Back in Germany, things continued straight away for OneFootball. In Munich, we were part of the Topps Takeover with FC Bayern Munich and Lothar Matthäus. On top of that, we covered public viewings with PayPal and other partners, producing content where fans came together to experience the sport.
Hydration Break: From Matchdays Into Open Water
After Chicago, Los Angeles, Munich and several matchdays, a water break was definitely well deserved.
Fittingly, that exact break led us to the Alpen Open Water Cup. In June, we continued managing the social media presence and covered two events on site. Open water racing brought a very different rhythm compared to many classic sports productions. It was calmer in the moment, closer to nature and strongly shaped by the community. That is exactly what made the project exciting: it was not only about documenting races, but about making the atmosphere of a growing event series visible.
Centre Court Before the Summit
Before June reached its summit, there was one more stop on the tennis court.
At the BOSS OPEN, we were on site for Interwetten and followed football legend Lothar Matthäus through the event. The result was a full event coverage around the day, bringing together tennis, brand and personality. A different sports environment, a new rhythm and the final stop before the biggest project of the month.
The Summit: Pepsi x VfB Stuttgart
The biggest climb of the month was Pepsi x VfB Stuttgart.
Together with our friends at 360Media, we developed a full launch campaign around one strong connection: both brands trace their history back to 1893. From that shared history, we created a visual story connecting club heritage, brand identity and a dedicated collection. Nearly 30 people on set. Two locations. Two legends: Kevin Kurányi and Cacau. From storyline and production to post-production, we created a hero piece, multiple teasers, social media assets and high-quality campaign stills. The project brought together concept, football culture, product, people and a tightly timed production setup.
See You at the Next Peak
That was June.
A month between DFB productions, OneFootball projects in the US and Germany, open water, tennis and one of our biggest campaign productions yet. Many different routes. Many different environments. Many people behind the scenes making it happen.
See you at the next peak.
